The Botanical Garden also known as “Botanisk Have” is a lovely green oasis in the middle of the modern city of Copenhagen. First founded in 1600 before being finally relocated to its present location today in 1870, the 10 hectare botanic garden houses the largest collection of living plants in Denmark and is also the only gene and seed bank for plants from nature. Locals and tourists alike regularly walk around the park and small activities every now-and-then, especially in the summer, keep the park alive and vibrant. It is also very famous for its historical and impressive glasshouses, like the “Palm House”.
